Leading Up To The Big Day

Bouquet

No matter what your wedding style – traditional or modern, glamorous or simple – the one thing that all brides want on their big day is to look their best, and that means having flawless, radiant skin.

Don’t leave it until the last minute to think about your skin – the longer you have to correct any skin issues, the better!

Don’t try any new products up to three weeks before your wedding – this includes skincare, hair care, make-up, and even washing powder! Any kind of a reaction, it could take a couple of weeks to calm down, which the last thing you need before your big day!

Start drinking green tea, preferably every day as it can help with weight loss – alongside a good diet and exercise regime.

Increase your intake of water

If you’re getting married abroad or in the summer, make sure you wear SPF50 every day, starting from 4 weeks before the wedding. Don’t risk sunbathing as the last thing you want to deal with is sun burns or pigmented skin.

Wear a good quality lip balm and re-apply regularly throughout the day, especially before bed. Do this for at least a week before your wedding.

Exercising will keep your energy up as you prepare for your big day, and it’s a great opportunity to clear your mind and de-stress.

Be mindful of your diet so your body stays in peak condition. Avoid junk foods, sugar and alcohol to help your skin glow.

Ensure you get plenty of rest despite all the wedding stress.
